Middlesex County runs from dense urban New Brunswick and Perth Amboy through the large suburban townships of Edison and Woodbridge — and into one of the heaviest commercial-and-industrial roofing corridors in the state. New Brunswick adds institutional and urban roofing — Rutgers buildings, the medical district, student-housing multi-families, and downtown low-slope roofs. Perth Amboy, on the Raritan Bay, is dense rowhouse and multi-family stock with flat and low-slope roofs that take membrane and modified-bitumen systems, plus the added wind exposure of a waterfront city.
